On the trail of the Perthshire Bodysnatchers.
After a few nights research I came up with the idea of following the Bodysnatcher trail from the Perthshire area. We had a lot to cram in so set of early and were blessed with a glorious day.
Greyfriars graveyard
The Weeping Lady
A quite remarkable statue erected to the Rev Samuel George Kennedy by his congregation in 1835. Unfortunately her nose has been damaged but you can almost feel the pain and depression emanating from the sculpture.
Kinnoull Kirkyard.
Kinfauns.
The next stop was at Kinfauns in search of two 'immortelles', fine china figurines incased in glass domes.
We found them but they were badly damaged.
Fantastic views as we stopped for a cuppa on the back roads heading towards Lundie.
Braveherd.
LoL of the day was when this herd of young cows came over to investigate what was going on.
Lundie.
The last stop of the day was at Lundie to look for the biblical stone which depicted a scene from Genesis 22.
